Cassie Pupovac grew up in Chicago, IL where she loved to make her own magic. She moved to Minneapolis, MN to study art and art education, finally receiving her MA in Art Education from the University of Minnesota. 

After her first experience living and studying in the Dominican Republic, she fell in love with a life immersed in cultural exploration which has shaped her world view. Over the years, Cassie has lived in Australia, Japan, India, and Turkey. In each of these places that she has been able to call home, and in doing so, brought her love of art education to the children living there. Cassie created art both individually and in collaboration with communities of children across 5 continents! After teaching and making art with children of all ages internationally, Cassie returned to the United States in 2020 to focus more closely on her own art.  

Cassie’s work often reflects life’s little everyday amusements. She creates art that reflects the world she hopes to see around her. She enjoys drawing animals, children and a diversity of characters in their various natural environments. Her work often includes a touch of playful magic. 

Cassie currently lives in Colorado with her partner - Clint, and dog - Simit while teaching at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. When not creating, you will find her hiking, kayaking, and enjoying the outdoors.
